Hello Blogland!
I'm excited to be in this magical place that previously I have only read about. I'm looking forward to starting this little blog journey and sharing little bits of my life in NYC!
Susan Miller, my astrologist and neighbor, said that I "may find an angel investor has interest in my work today." If that's not a sign then I don't know what is...
In honor of today, I will write what hopefully will be a weekly installment. I call it: "F.R.I.D.A.Y." (Cue Rebecca Black sound track) aka awesome things that happened this week and things I'm looking forward to this weekend.
FRIDAY:
F is for Food
I proudly spend a lot of time planning my next meal. Today is no exception. Tonight I'm very much looking forward to dinner with some lovely lady friends at Westville, one of our favorite little places in the city. They have a delicious grilled cheese that never disappoints. Especially when paired with some vino and asparagus to even everything out.
R is for RIQUE
The King of SoulCycle. His class is out of this world hard. Last time I "saw the light" and thought I was going to die. Worth it. Especially with Westville to look forward to.
I is for Igloo
There was a Polar Vortex this week. I may as well live in an igloo. I is a hard letter, give me a break.
D is for 'Diez'
Diez because theres no "T" for 10 in Friday. Ten because I'm running the Central Park Hot Chocolate Ten Miler on Sunday. Regrets. Good news is that the Polar vortex has left NYC. Also, they give you free hot chocolate at the end. TBD if this will be a big mistake or not.
A is for Another Spin Class
If I survive the wrath of Rique on Friday I will be headed to a private spin class for my Friend's birthday on Saturday afternoon at Revolve with Jason one of my other favorite spin gurus. Yup the day before the Hot Chocolate Ten Miler. Pray for my quads.
Y is for YES
Yes, I am in fact insane... I would hate me if I was reading this. Also, Yes because the one "resolution" that I made was to say "Yes" to more things. Here's to hoping I don't burn myself out before the end of January!
And with that, CHEERS to the weekend!
